Mythian slowly got up and got a robe then left. She ran down looking g for Eve "Eve?!" She called.

"My lady?" Eve replied, appearing at the doorway of the library. "Is everything alright?"

Mythian nodded "yes...Mordred and I are laying to sleep now...I would like Ruth" she said finally

"Of course." Eve disappeared momentarily before returning with a sound asleep Ruth. "Here you are," she whispered, extending Ruth out to Mythian. "Forgive my prying, but are you certain everything is alright?"

Mythian smiled down at her baby as she took her. She looked up a Eve "why wouldn t it be alright?"

"I suppose I'm just concerned about Master Mordred," Eve stammered. "Forget me. Good night, my lady."

Mythian sighed "the king has asked us to meet with him, The king always sets my husband on edge, good night" she said then turned and went back to she and Mordred's room, setting Ruth in her crib that was directly beside Myhian's side of the bed

Mordred spent the next five days going between monitoring the preparations and practicing his magic and swordplay, monitoring his emotions carefully.

Mythian sat in the carriage with Ruth, waiting for Mordred, they were bringing along Sham to help with the horses, and Eve to help with the baby

Eve fussed with the few items she and Sham were bringing with them. Several minutes later, Mordred arrived and got into the carriage. "Let's go," he ordered as he sat beside Mythian.

Mythian leaned out of the carriage "Eve, come sit with us, in case we need you" she ordered then sat back

Sham kissed Eve for a moment.

Eve kissed back then pulled away. "I'll see you in a few hours," she smiled before climbing carefully into the carriage and sitting as far from her master and mistress as possible.

Mordred gazed out the window, lost in his own thoughts. As the trip stretched on, Eve dozed off.

"Poor child," Mordred smirked, giving Ruth his finger. "I'm sorry, Ruth. You're in trouble now."

Mythian watched as the child latched right onto Mordred's finger and gummed on it. "Oh but Mordred, your the most handsome man around"

Mordred rested his cheek on her head, watching as Ruth slobbered his finger. To him the remaining hours of the trip seemed to fly by.

Mythian was curled up against Mordred asleep with Ruth in her srms by the time they arrived at Camelot.

Sham opened the carriage door.

Eve yawned as the door opened. Across from her, Mordred stirred. "Have we arrived?" he asked, blinking sleep from his blue eyes.

Sham nodded "yes, the bags are all already up in your room, it i late, so the king will let you rest for the night"

Gently waking Mythian, Mordred nodded. "Thank you, Sham. Would you escort Lady Mythian to our room? I need to walk around after such a long ride."

Eve clambered out of the carriage and moved to stand beside Sham.
