"Yes please," she managed, finally under control. Her hazel eyes challenged him.


Gawain laughed. "You'll blind people if you aren't careful," he teased.

Lancelot nodded "show me to a fiddle"

Hilly let Gawain go and giggled "Oh Gawain, you are silly!"

"Right this way, great knight," Charlotte curtsied theatrically before spinning on her heel. "Impress this fair lady." She led him over to one of the storage tents and gestured to the multiple instruments. "Take your pick."

"And you aren't?" he laughed.

Lancelot grabbed one of the more worn out fiddles, he messed with the tunning a little then began to play an upbeat song.

Hilly smiled "Never said I wasn't"

As he played, Charlotte closed her eyes, taking in the beat. And then she sprang into motion, twirling, spinning, every movement flickering from one to another in a wild grace. There was no thought, just action.

Catching her in his arms, Gawain kissed her. "And that's why I love you."

Lancelot grinned at her then got up and began dancing awkwardly as he played.

Hilly looked up at gawain "can we go to my tent again?"

Charlotte laughed again as he attempted to join her. "You can use an instrument," she conceded. "But you're a jester when it comes to dancing."

Gawain nodded before kissing her again. "Lead on, my lady."

Lancelot chuckled "I dance just fine when I am not playing"

Hilly grinned and pulled Gawain to her tent quickly, the moment she got in she was tugging her dress over her head.

Charlotte shook her head. "Fine for a noble, maybe. But not nearly well enough for my kind."


Gawain pulled off his shirt before pulling her to him and kissing her desperately. (timeskip?)

Lancelot snorted "Well, your kind is paid to do well in such things'

(Yup) Hilly snuggled up in his arms.

Charlotte's eyes narrowed for a moment, searching for arrogance or judgment in his words. "That's not quite what I was referring to. I was talking about how you nobles don't know how to become one with the music."

Gawain brushed his lips across the back of her neck. "My little light," he breathed.

"and whats that supposed to mean?" Lancelot asked crossing his arms.

Hilly blushed "I love you Gawain"

"It means you aren't capable of relaxing and just being who you want," Charlotte shrugged. "Gawain is one of the few nobles I know who doesn't fight his true nature. Hilly's lucky to have him."

"I love you too," he smiled, closing his eyes and relaxing beside her.

Lancelot shook his head "I do not hide myself."

Hilly stroked his chest for a moment "when will we marry?"

Charlotte considered. "Well, I suppose I don't know you well enough to judge," she admitted. "But for now, I'll believe what I want." She smirked at him. "After all, you're doing the same to me. It's only fair."

Catching her hand and intertwining their fingers, Gawain tilted his head. "I'm not sure. As soon as we can would be preferable. What do you think?"

Lancelot nodded "Oh I suppose" he agreed then sat down, watching her.

Hilly smiled "we can right now! with our company priest!" she exclaimed then got up, wrapping a blanket around herself she ran out of the tent right away.

"What?" she asked, returning the gaze steadily.

"Hilly!" Gawain called after her as he dressed quickly, grateful for all the nights he had been dragged out of bed to fight. Grabbing her dress, he sprinted after her muttering, "You crazy girl."

Lancelot shook his head "It is nothing"

Hilly continued to run, she was already in sight of the priest, she smiled at Gawain then turned back around and ran up, talking to the priest right away.

Charlotte raised an eyebrow. "Of course, you're just staring at me."

Gawain raced up after her. Shoving her dress into her hands, he sighed. "You could've waited long enough to put this on before going out in public!"

Lancelot shrugged "Your a beautiful woman"

Hilly smiled a little, she dropped the blanket right in front of anyone around and pulled the dress over her head, the priest made a point to cover his face with his bible.

"Don't flatter me," Charlotte shook her head.

Gawain groaned. "Hilly..."

Lancelot raised an eyebrow "wasn't trying to"

hilly looked at Gawain "what is wrong?"

"Of course," Charlotte laughed. "I shouldn't be surprised."

"Common sense, my lady," Gawain sighed. "Please don't change in front of people like that..."

Lancelot smiled "You are not so mean as I thought"

Hilly frowned but nodded, looking like a kicked puppy.

"Don't be so sure," Charlotte warned. "I'm known for my temper."

Gawain hugged her gently. "I'm not mad, Hilly. Just try to remember for next time okay?"

Lancelot laughed "I am not surprised by that at all"

Hilly nodded and leaned into Gawain. "The priest said he will marry us"

Charlotte smirked. "Good, you might live longer."

Turning to the priest, Gawain nodded respectfully. "Thank you."

Lancelot raised an eyebrow "is that so?"

The priest nodded nervously, not looking st Hilly, he began speaking the vows.

Charlotte nodded. "Yep!" Charlotte chirped.

Gawain took Hilly's hand and smiled at her.

Lancelot nodded "and what if I take my words back?

Hilly grinned "I do!"
