RPG Pet Peeves
Kind of interested to see what all can be added in a list of what members find the MOST annoying thing about roleplaying with another person (aka the other handlers). Just add to the list and let's see how many we can create. Maybe we can try to find ways to fix those irks.
1. When handlers try to turn all of your characters in love with theirs, no matter what character you have.

Bad grammar and spelling. You don't use semi-colons? That's fine. But run-on sentences, comma splices, and other basic things are dealbreakers. Also, unnecessary outfit descriptions before the thread starts.

Twenty to thirty minutes between replies. Makes me crazy. As Yoda said, "Do or do not -- there is no try."

Those Mary-Sues/Gary-Sues. Makes me so annoyed to rpg with a character that has absolutely no flaws or problems arising for them. Everyone has a weakness.

When other characters have obsessively long inner monologues. How am I supposed to react to what my character can't even see or hear?

Agreed -- too much homework in general! My kids used to have to lug all their heavy books home but I guess these days it's an iPad or a computer...still, you spend so much time in school it hardly seems fair!

Your opponent gets a lucky critical hit in Pokemon. (Just happened to me)

When your character has a quick thought, you know, to clear up something that may have been unclear to the reader/others in the RP, and someone's character hears that thought.
Also when people respond with vague short responses that don't give you much to work with.

People who call artists drawers. A drawer is something you store clothes and utensils in, not somebody who draws. This is one of the most annoying grammatical errors to me xD

(I had that happen once, but they found it several months later and mailed it back to me, I was so happy xD)

When playing Dark Souls and your controller dies. (Note: There is no pause function in Dark Souls)

(Oh geeze that would suck, I played Dark Souls on PC, so I didn't have the problem, since my controller was connected via USB)

When you're tuning your guitar to a tuning lower than the one it is already in, and somehow that ******* high E string breaks.

Generic characters....I mean the same background we here, with the powers they are almost exactly. Then again, characters like that exist.
