Arthurian Legend RP

"You think I don't know that?!" Gawain snapped. "Why else would I call it naïve?!" Tension draining away, he turned away from his uncle to hide the sorrow in his eyes. "Forget it. With your permission, I need to pass Mordred's request to Merlin."

"You can pass the request, but as I saod, it is Merlin's decision" he said then nodded. "I wouldn't worry for Mordred's family, if he is as you say he is with Mythian, he will have a family soon"

Gawain simply nodded, not trusting his voice and not willing to look at Arthur. Taking a deep breath, he sprinted off to find Merlin.

Merlin was brewing a pot of tea in his hut,

"Master Merlin?" Gawain called after taking a deep breath and steadying his emotions.

Merlin opener the door "Gawain! How good to see you!"

"You too," Gawain managed to smile. "How are you?"

Merlin shrugged "been worried about you!"

"Don't trust in my skills?" Gawain laughed. "That's almost insulting, Merlin." Slowly, he became more serious. "I wish I'd only come here to catch up with you, but I have a request from Mordred." He winced inwardly, waiting for Merlin's expression to darken.

Merlin's expression darkened "what request?"

Gawain sighed; he knew it. The likelihood of Mordred every forming a decent relationship with Arthur and Merlin was dropping every minute. "He's hoping that you'll help teach him to control his power."

"No" merlin answered simply.

Gawain opened his mouth to argue then stopped. There was no point; Mordred himself had predicted this reaction. "Thank you for you time," he replied turning towards the door. "I should be going."

Merlin nodded "good seeing you Gawain"

Gawain just shrugged, wincing slightly as he did so. He made a mental note not to do that again until his bruises had healed.

Merlin nodded then turned away

Mythian looked at the castle in front of her. It wasn't the biggest she'd ever seen, but the not the smallest either, it was a little run down, but not unlivable.

"Don't like it?" Mordred asked, moving to stand beside her.

Mythian shrugged "it's dirty, beautiful, but needs to be cleaned" she said looking at Mordred,

Mordred nodded. "It'll be taken care of," he smiled, putting an arm around her waist. "Shall we go in?"

Mythian smiled "yes we shall" she said and walked with Mordred. She doors opened as they got up to it.

The castle was beautiful and ornate, a bit dusty but it was something that could be easily taken care of. Mordred grinned slightly as he looked around. It had been a long time since he'd been to the castle and he'd missed it. "What do you think?" he asked.

Mythian looked around in awe "it's the most beautiful place I have ever seen"

Mordred kissed her. "And it's ours," he smiled. Turning slightly, he waved the few servants that had come with them over and instructed them to unpack and start cleaning.

Mythian watched the servants for a moment "what shall we do in the meantime?"

"We could walk along the beach, explore the castle," Mordred shrugged. "Just about anything."

"I would like t look around the castle" Mythian decided,

Taking her hand, Mordred guided her further into the castle. The first place he took her to was the balcony that he had always gone to when he needed a break from his family. It provided the perfect view of the sea and beach. As he stepped out, the wind picked up and rushed around him, bringing a smile to his face as he closed his eyes.

Mythian Looked out at the sea then closed her eyes "I love it"

"This is one of my favorite places here," Mordred told her. Wrapping an arm around her, he pulled her close. "I'm glad we're here."

Mythian leaned into Mordred "it's ours now" she smiled.
