"You tell me," Gawain shrugged. "You've been summoning him quite frequently lately and your interest has become more intense."Allowing his expression to become as serious as he felt, Gawain met his mother's gaze. "If he's here. I'd like to bring him back with me."

"Are you certain, Master Merlin?" The man called. "Perhaps we should search your home just in case. She may have snuck in without you noticing."

Morgous sighed "Gawain, I have taken interest in him because out of no where he is getting married, but no, he is not here"

"You need not search! She isn't here!" Merlin called.

Eyes hardening, Gawain shook his head. "Mythian told me that he came here to meet with you. He hasn't returned for three days and her home was attacked, her father killed. If he isn't with her, he must be here."

"If you are certain, we will take our leave. Contact us if you happen to see her," the guard called back before issuing orders to move out.

Morgous looked concerned "perhaps he was taken on the way?!" 

One of the guards frowned "The Queen said not to rake no for an answer from Merlin"

Gawain laughed. "We both know that's not possible. He's nearly on my level. No mere bandit could best him." Turning, he called over his shoulder, "I'll just look around the house and be on my way once I've found him."

"If you wish to anger Camelot and its King, go ahead," the first guard replied. "I don't have a death wish. A war between our country and theirs would be disasterous."

Morgous glared "he isn't here." She said firmly.

The guard considered this "whatever Morgous does to us will be worse then death" he said and kicked in Merlin,s door, the troop followed in, searching, finally they found Mythian. Merlin tried fighting, but there was only so much he could do, the guards took Mythian.

"Then there's no harm in looking," Gawain replied, leaving the room. It was clear his brother was here. Not only did he know his mother well, but he also doubted Mythian would lie about Mordred. After a quick look around the estate, Gawain frowned. Surely she hadn't put him in the dungeon. Forcing himself to stay calm, he started down the stairs.

The guards carried Mythian down the dungeon steps "out of the way!" One called forcing Gawain to move as they left to out Mythian in a cell beside Mordred's, the same with no windows, and instead of a regular cell with bars for a door, these cells had metal doors coated in heavy stone.

"Then there's no harm in looking," Gawain replied, leaving the room. It was clear his brother was here. Not only did he know his mother well, but he also doubted Mythian would lie about Mordred. After a quick look around the estate, Gawain frowned. Surely she hadn't put him in the dungeon. Forcing himself to stay calm, he started down the stairs.

Gawain glared at the men. "You dare push past one of your princes? What are you doing here? Release them!"

"Orders from the queen!" One called back "and your no longer out prince, your a knight of camelot!" The guard laughed

(Oh I get yah)

It was rare for Gawain to display a temper like the rest of his family but that was going too far. Steel rang as he drew his sword. "Then , by that reasoning, I should kill all of you for taking a Lady from Camelot. Move aside, or I'll be forced to remove you myself."

"Gawain!"  Morgous yelled from behind them. "Put your sword away, and leave, or I'll bring death on the both of them!"

"Mother," he snarled, lowering his sword but not sheathing it. "What are you plotting?"

"Something that involves Mordred, taking over Camelot, the usual" Morgous said casually

"Isn't that his choice?" Gawain asked.

Not far away, Mordred laughed darkly, "You'd think so wouldn't you?"

Morgous shook her head "it's his born right and honor"

"And it's my honor to turn you down," Mordred smirked. His energy was still drained and he was exhausted. Gawain glanced at his brother nervously.

Morgous shook her head she looked at Gawain. "Lock him up." She ordered, and as commanded, guards grabbed Gawain, but so many did at the same time, it was really hopeless to try and fight.

Gawain glared at her but didn't resist.

Mordred cursed. "You only want me. Let them go." Desperate, he reached for his power, something, anything. Even a small sliver and he could do something!

The guards shoved Gawain into a cell and chained him up.

Morgous then ordered the men to take Mythian t the torture room, then to lock Mordred into a chair, Mythian was taken down and chained to a wooden table, Mordred was grabbed and forced into a chair where Mythian could turn her head and look at him as she slowly regained her consciousness

Mordred fought desperately. He had to do something. Pain ripped through him as he dragged a thread of power into his grasp. Ignoring it, he used the single thread the gather more. He had to build it up.
Focusing on Mythian, he breathed, "Are you alright?"

"What's going on?" Mythian asked groggily

"Mordred, this is your last chance" Morgous said 

(Mordred has the power draining ring on him, he's still new to his powers, so there's no way he'd be able to regain them)

His control broke and the sudden tear of power made him scream. It took several moments for him to regain his voice. "Morgous caught you," he panted, refusing to call the older woman "Mother". She'd lost that title as soon as Mythian and Gawain had been captured. "She's threatening you...to make me...surrender to her plans." He hated how his voice shook and broke there was little he could do about it.

Mythian looked horrified, her eyes only got bigger as her head was locked in place by some metal contraption so she was forced to look directly st Mordred.

Meeting her gaze, Mordred felt something in him break. Eyes dulling, he whispered, "Fine. I'll do what you want. Just let her and Gawain go."

Morgous smiled "I will put them in rooms in the castle, but until you complete the task, I will not free them fully, they will be able to roam the castle, just not leave it"

The usual light in Mordred's eyes had faded completely. He nodded before whispering, "Can I spend just a little time with them before I have to go?"

Morgous nodded "Get them to rooms" she ordered her guards "put the love birds in a room together, I still need an heir from them" she said, with that she left.

The guards grudgingly released Mythian and Mordred, they dragged Mordred up to a room and tossed MMythian on a bed in the room.
