Mythian began walking through a garden, "I want a garden this beautiful"

Following her, Mordred gazed around the garden. "I'll see what we can do at our place."

'Do you promise?" Mythian asked.

"I promise," Mordred replied. "A garden will be a nice addition."

Mythian nodded "and I want a marble mountain"

"Marble fountain?" Mordred repeated, eyebrow raised.

Mythian nodded "yes, right in the middle"

Mordred considered for a moment. "What do you think, Ruth? Should I let your mom have a fountain?"

Mythian smiled "that counts as yes"

Mordred sighed. "Looks like I'm outnumbered. You win, ladies. Marble fountain it is."

Mythian grinned and kissed his cheek. "I love you"

Mordred laughed. "I'm honored, my lady. To be allowed to add something to your garden; when have you been so generous?" he teased.

Mordred caught her hand and continued through the garden. After a few minutes he paused as a breeze whispered through his hair. Smirking, he turned to Mythian. "Sounds like some of the knights are out training. Want to watch?"

Mythian nodded "of course, maybe your brother will be out there" she chuckled and reached over to stroke Ruth's Cheek.

Noting the movement, Mordred handed Ruth over. "Seems your mother feels a bit deprived," he commented lightly. Blue eyes bright, he grinned. "Maybe, but I'm not sure if Gawain's around. Even if he isn't it'll be interesting to watch...maybe join in if they aren't too scared."

Ruth began crying as she was being handed away until she saw her mother, she began smiling again.

Mythian held Ruth close to her and smiled. "Well, I'm sure you can beat them all at sparring"

Mordred shrugged. "Probably not. Most of them are at Gawain's level and I've never beaten him. It's good practice though."

Mythian laughed "really? But at school you were the best!"

"I had Gawain and the best knights training me," Mordred shrugged. "And I'm not that old. Most of the knights of Camelot have years of experience on me."

Mythian raised an eyebrow "you d beat them with no problem if you used magic" she said as they walked towards the training area.

"I need to be able to fight without magic," Mordred countered. "Morgeous has already drained me once, if it happens again, I need to be able to defend myself."
