Gawain swallowed the bite he'd taken and laughed. "We need to keep up our strength," he grinned. "Besides, after all the hard work we do, don't we deserve something for the effort?"

Hilly giggled and nodded "Of course you do! thats why we the women serve the men after set up since they do most of the work"

Putting a hand to her forehead, Gawain asked, "You haven't been in the sun too long have you? Are you ill?" The playful gleam had not left his eyes.

Supporting her easily, Gawain rose with her in his arms. "Of course, poor maiden," he teased back. Still carrying her, he grabbed a mug of water then moved into the shade of a nearby tree before setting her down and sitting beside her. "Here you are, Lady Hilly."

Hilly laughed and leaned against him. "Why thank you Sir Gawain! Strongest Knight in all of Camelot!"

Gawain shifted so that she could lean more comfortable against him. "I'm still sweaty," he warned, suddenly remembering his lack of shirt.

Gawain smiled. "I suppose you would be used to it," he commented, relaxing against the tree. He glanced down at the girl leaning against him and was once again struck by her beauty.

Forcing himself to focus on the sky, he nodded. "Incredible," he agreed, though he was referring to more than just the sunset.

Gawain's eyes widened before his gaze softened. "You really are a unique girl," he commented before leaning down and kissing her lightly, keeping it short but sweet.
