Eve curled against him, lazily running her hand across his chest. "I love you."

"I adore her," he grinned, cradling Ruth against his chest. Pressing a kiss to her forehead, Mordred closed his eyes. "I adore both of you."

Ruth grinned and grabbed Mordred's nose.
