once she thought he was asleep, Mythian got out of the bed, she got dressed, then left and walked around the castle. finally getting bored she left and went into the garden.

A young servant girl was tending to the flowers, humming softly to herself only to stop short at the sight of Mythian. Scrambling to her feet, she gave Mythian a low curtsey. "My Lady," she greeted, voice trembling.

Mythian looked at the serving girl. She narrowed her eyes then nodded and sat on a stone bench,. "You were humming?

The girl looked panicked, but obediently opened her mouth and began singing a lullaby common among the servants. Her voice was soft, haunting, and beautiful.

"Eve, my lady," Eve replied, voice wavering. Her eyes remained locked on the ground and her hands were trembling.

Mythian nodded "a lovely name to match your voice" she commented. "Would you care to sing as entertainment when we have it?"

Eve blinked and glanced up in surprise before realizing her mistake and dropping her eyes once more. "If that's what my lady would ask of me," she said respectfully.
