"Myth..." Mordred pleaded. "Don't worry so much. I'll be fine."

Mythian just shook her head "my own husband won't even talk to me about things" she said on the verge of tears.

Gently, he pulled her into his arms. "The rumors about me only destroy me. Some are true, and I'm often the first to admit that I'm dark, but...only you've ever accepted both the dark and the lighter side of me. People refuse to see both. It...hurts. Knowing I can never be viewed as a whole but only one dark half," he whispered. "I'm breaking, Myth."

Mythian shoo her head and stroked his cheek "your not just dark, you must see that..." she said quietly and buried her face in his chest,

"I want to see it," Mordred replied, turning his face to kiss her palm. "But with so few believing it exists, it's hard to remember."

"Your being kind to me right now, can't you see?" Mythian asked looking up at him.

Mordred smiled softly. "A bit," he admitted. "Though you seem to be the only one who doesn't expect me to be plotting something at the same time."

Mythian smiled "the only thing you could plot when with me is when to make another child"

Mordred laughed. "Why don't we wait to see how we do with the first one?"

Mythian nodded and chuckled "as you wish"

Kissing her lightly on the cheek, Mordred smirked. "I don't know if we could handle more than one infant at a time."

Mythian nodded "nor do I"

"Thank goodness," Mordred teased.

Mythian laughed "are you feel in better rested then?"

"Yes, my lady," Mordred nodded. "Thank you. How are you? What were you doing while I slept?"

"I went to the garden" Mythian answered "and I am alright"

"The garden must've been nice," Mordred replied. "If it's as beautiful as it was when I was last here."

Mythian nodded "I had a serving girl sing to me"

"Really?" Mordred was a bit surprised. "Why?"

Mythian shrugged "she was humming, she was very good so I wanted to hear her sing.,,she will sing as entertainment when we have guests"

Mordred smiled. "I'll trust your judgment. I'm curious to hear her."

"I could summon her to sing while we eat if you like?" Mythian suggested.

Mordred considered the suggestion for a moment. "So long as it isn't any trouble," he agreed.

Mythian nodded "I also promised her a raise, and new dresses, I wont have a dirty looking girl on horrid clothes preform before our friends"

"That's a good idea. How'd she react?" Mordred asked, curious to know if it was similar to his interactions with Sham.

"She seemed frightened and shocked" Mythian replied with a shrug.

"We seem to have that effect on people," Mordred sighed.

"Why is that?" Mythian asked,

Mordred raised an eyebrow. "Our rumors. We aren't exactly saints."

Mythian shrugged "our staff believe the rumors?"
