[Anne Redwood]

Gawain focused on the fruit, shifting it between his hands. "No, my lady, why?"

[Buggy]

"Your nervous, and worrying about Mordred, why?" Mythian demanded,

[Anne Redwood]

Flinching, Gawain shook his head. "Not here, Lady De'Fluer. And I'm not sure you want to know."

[Buggy]

"As  Mordred's future wife, I have a right to know." Mythian argued, crossing her arms.

[Anne Redwood]

"Alright, alright," Gawain soothed, putting a hand on her arm. "But not here. "

[Buggy]

Mythian nodded, taking satisfaction in her winning. "Then where?"

[Anne Redwood]

"Come with me," he replied. Guiding her to an empty courtyard he sighed. "Are you sure you want to hear this?"

[Buggy]

Mythian sat on a stone bench in the courtyard "of course I am sure"

[Anne Redwood]

Gawain turned away from her. "There's this prophecy, I only found out about it yesterday, about Mordred. 'The son of the king, the son of the queen of two different lands will be borne, he who bears these blood relations will come to fight dark and light, but shall fall, and take the king with him'."

Mythian looked confused "what does  it mean?" She asked Gawain.

[Anne Redwood]

"That Mordred will kill our uncle and Camelot will be thrown into chaos," Gawain replied softly, grateful he wasn't facing her.

[Buggy]

Mythian thought for a moment then shrugged "so? Then he will be king"

[Anne Redwood]

"There's more to it," Gawain told her. "The prophecy said 'but shall fall, and take the king with him'." Meeting her eyes this time, he finished, "Mordred dies too."

[Buggy]

Mythian fell silent, her whole body frozen, and visibly shaken. "I have to go" she said finally then got up and ran from the courtyard, she ran all the way back to she and Mordred's school, going up to her dorm she jumped onto the bed hugging Mordred.

Mordred started in alarm as Mythian threw herself on top of him. Struggling to sit up, he asked, "Mythian? Mythian, what's going on?"

[Buggy]

Mythian shook her head and buried her face in his chest "I missed you is all" she lied.

[Anne Redwood]

Confused, Mordred wrapped his arms around her and traced circles on her back. "Why don't I believe that? Did something happen?"

[Buggy]

Mythian sniffled a little "I was in the market...and some girl took the scarf I wanted!" She exclaimed' telling a lie, hoping Mordred would buy it.

[Anne Redwood]

Mordred raised an eyebrow; it didn't seem like Mythian to cry over something like that. If something like that did happen he saw her tearing the other girl to pieces rather than come to him. "I see," he allowed slowly, making it clear that he didn't believe her, but would let the subject drop.

[Buggy]

Mythian curled up to him "please don't die_ she whispered.

[Anne Redwood]

Frowning, Mordred put his hands on her shoulders and pushed her back so he could look her in the eye. "What are you talking about?" he demanded. "Why would I die?"

[Buggy]

Mythian squeezed her eyes shut so she was tempted to tell him "it's nothing Mordred!"

[Anne Redwood]

"Mythian," Mordred repeated, "Why would I die?"

[Buggy]

Mythian shook her head crying more "ask your brother"

[Anne Redwood]

Gently wiping her tears away, Mordred asked, "Brother? Mythian, dear, you aren't making sense."

[Buggy]

"Gawain knows...he told me...Mordred, your going to die!" Mythian exclaimed putting her face in her hands

[Anne Redwood]

"I have no intention of dying, Mythian," Mordred reassured her, wrapping his arms around her. He'd never been good with tears and it was even harder when it was his fiancée.

[Buggy]

Mythian shook her head "it's a prophecy!"

[Anne Redwood]

"Prophecy?" Mordred repeated, thoroughly confused. "What prophecy?"

[Buggy]

Mythian gulped before speaking, and when she did speak, she was whimpering "I-It said Y-You w-would battle light and d-dark, and it s-said you would kill k-king Arthur, b-but you would die t-to"
