Meet Katie-Carla
Hi there my name's Katie-Carla. I'm 20 years old and I come from England, though I grew up in Spain. I've been married for around 6 months, which often surprises people. I work in a bakery, which is fun.
I've always loved to read, but it was The Hobbit that made me fall complete in love with it. So blame my year 6 teacher for using the 1st paragraph as a text in class. He also introduced me to Harry Potter, so I guess I have a hell of a lot to thank him for, or I probably wouldn't be here typing this.
I've been writing poetry since I was 18. I suffered losing a very good friend and it was literally the only way I could let my friends now I needed help getting through it. I would be fine to them, then I'd show them a poem and they'd know I was still feeling upset. I used to right poetry with no rythming, but since I wrote my 1st, complete rythming poem It's the only way I'll do it now. I actually find poetry completly boring, I couldn't think of anything worse then reading a bookful of the things to be honest.
I like writing poetry because it's a good way of retreating for a few minutes, and working on the rymthes and things, it gives my mind something to concentrate on. I am suffering from writers block really badly at the moment, which sucks more then anything.
I also role play, but not very much any more. I've been doing it less then a year, and although I do love it, I'm suffering a bit from RP block, no matter if it's a cannon or original character. I am hoping that'll change soon, I miss it.
And now the novel is over. XD
