He ran a hand along his ring. "I need someone to help me train. Merlin is a great sorcerer. If Gawain can convince him to help, then I'll learn control faster." Frowning, he added, "It's a gamble though."

"Morgous wants a boy," Mordred frowned. Then he shook his head. "I don't have a preference, though a daughter wouldn't be so bad."

Mythian looked at her stomach "what if we don't,t have a boy and she gets upset?"

"She'll have to deal with it," Mordred shrugged. "It's not as if we plan on having only one child."

"Then so do I," Mordred grinned, pulling her to him. After a quick kiss, he took her hand. "Are you all packed?"

Mythian nodder "I had a servant take my things to the carriage"

"My stuff should be packed. Shall we see if their ready to travel?" Mordred asked. "I don't want to stay here longer than necessary."

Mythian nodded "And I can not wait to get to the castle...me and you....alone by a romantic shore" she asked as they headed back up to the room to see about Mordred' things.

"You're excited about this aren't you?" Mordred teased. Reaching the room, he glanced around. Most of his things had been packed and carried out. A servant slipped past them and picked up one of the remaining three trunks.

Mythian smiled "I am" she said and watched the boy before looking back at Mordred.

As two more servants entered and grabbed the last of the luggage, Mordred met her gaze. "Let's go to the carriage," he suggested. "We can leave as soon as they finish packing."

Mythian nodded "Lead the way" She told him then followed Mordred's lead to the carriage.

It wasn't long after they arrived at the carriage that they were ready to leave. After helping Mythian inside, Mordred climbed in and sat beside her. "It'll be a long trip," he warned her. "Will you be alright?"

Mythian thought for a moment "I believe so, but where will we sleep?"

"We can stop at an inn if we need to," he replied. "If we push as hard as we can, we may be able to reach the castle late this evening."

"There are inns along the way to eat at," he shrugged. "We can always stop if that's what you'd prefer."

Mordred nodded and leaned back. Slowly, he began to play with the shadows, testing his endurance and strength.
