Mythian smiled and scooted closer to him and laid her head on his shoulder. "how was it for you?"

"Everything I needed, fair one." Glancing at the window, he sighed. "Your break is almost over."

Mythian frowned and buried her face in his neck "i'm to tired to go" she mumbled

Seeing her like that made him chuckle. "You're welcome to stay, my dear," he murmured. "If that's what you want."

Mythian looked up at him."people will start to talk'

"I suppose," he said. "I guess I'm used to having rumors spread about me."

Mythian propped herself up a little bit and looked at Mordred. "I don't want my reputation ruined"

"You do remember what family you're marrying into right?" Mordred asked, kissing her.

Mythian kissed back "Yes, I do know, but I don't need to start off a bad reputation of being an Orkney brother's Whore"

"There are women who'd love to be in your position right now," he replied easily, pulling back.

Mythian sat up pulling a blanket up to cover herself with. "And there are men that would love to be in yours."

"Touché." He moved over to allow her more space. "Are you going to your classes then or returning to your room?"

Mythian smiled at him "I don't know..I'm already late for classes...so my room then"/

Grabbing his clothes, Mordred stretched. "I'm not sure if I'll be at dinner tonight. Gawain wanted to go out later today so...and I may try to see my uncle about the wedding."

Mythian looked down for a moment "oh, okay, will you come by room when your back?"

"Mythian, is everything okay?" he asked, crossing to her side and lifting her chin to meet her eyes.

Mythian looked at him shaking her head "I just... I want to spend a night with my lover"

Kissing her, Mordred murmured, "I'll come back as quickly as possible. I promise." For a moment, he lingered before withdrawing. "Where should I find you?"

Mythian stroked his arm a little "in my room probably, if not there, check the dinning hall"

With a nod, Mordred pulled his tunic on and held the door open for her once he'd made sure the hall was clear. "I'll see you then, Red Lady." Giving her a quick kiss on the cheek, he sprinted off to meet his brother.

Mythian quickly dressed and smiled at him. She waited several minutes before she left after him and down to her room,

After what felt like hours of dealing with Gawain's happy-go-lucky personality, Mordred excused himself and made his way over to the castle. Hesitating for only a moment, he entered the gates in search of King Arthur. ((If you want to do that scene let me know, otherwise we can skip to him getting back to the school. Do you think Arthur would let them hold the wedding in his palace?))

King Arthur sat at his large desk, going over maps, and scrolls, writing things down every here and there.

As the guards allowed him to enter the room, Mordred called, "Uncle, it's good to see you again."

Arthur looked up from his work. "What do you want?" He asked trying not to sound harsh, but diffidently didn t sound inviting,

Mordred felt his eye twitch and forced himself to remain pleasant. "I was hoping to ask a favor, if I may."

King Arthur stared at Mordred for a moment. "Well you can ask."

"I've recently been engaged to Lady Mythian De'Fluer and she was hoping that we could hold the wedding here," Mordred replied, just managing to keep a growl out of his voice.

Arthur pursed his lips, taking a moment to reply, as he took a sudden fascination in his paper. "What's wrong with your mother and father's castle?"

"It's a long and unnecessary journey for her family," Mordred shrugged. "We're also both enrolled at the boarding school here in Camelot so it seems like the more obvious choice. After all, you and I are kin and this is her native country."
