THE MUSE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

If you have any questions, you can email the founder of Muse at GODGRYFFIN@GMAIL.COM for more information. Even then, don't hesitate to ask in a simple private message [PM] to Tyler onsite as a member. We'd rather you have some idea of what to do than go running around with a blindfold on. There are no dumb questions and Tyler is always willing to answer, as are Holly & Pure, the other two admins of the Muse.

Are there any punishments for breaking rules?

Breaking a Rule Offense Levels:

First Level - WARNING - You will be sent an official warning through Private Message by an admin or moderator. If this is the case you only receive this one warning before being moved to the second level of punishment. We do not have very many rules, so this is a serious matter. Official Warnings will have the title "OFFICIAL WARNING" on the title of the private message and can only be given by a moderator (through approval of an admin) or an admin.
Second Level - WRITTEN UP - You will be sent an official report through Private Message by an admin and an admin only. If this is the case you will not be considered for potential moderator or administrative work on the Muse and you might be prohibited from any special events or awards for 6 months. Reports are titled "REPORT NOTICE" on the title of the private message and can only be given by an admin.
Third Level - SUSPENSION - You will be restricted from posting or viewing the board for a duration of days, depending on the severity of the rule you've broken not once, but two different times. You could also be suspended without the first two levels if the matter is serious enough.
Fourth Level - BANNED - You will be removed from the site with no way of registering again if you commit an offense this serious, or have committed the same rule breaking three times to make it to this last level.

What are brownie points?

Think of brownie points like galleons from a Harry Potter rpg, or points from any other place. You can use these stars to visit our Coffee shop and purchase nifty little things like your own club, or coloring your own name. Eventually you can use those points to buy your promotion to a new rank, which allows you more features. These points can be earned through awarding from Supervisors and Partners.

How active do I have to be?

Activity is strictly up to you, though preferable if you at least log in once a week to check things out. If you're in a roleplay thread, it's respectful to finish your thread out with the other member at the very least. Other than that, your activity is up to you. We've had members already who visit maybe once or twice a month and others who pop in every day for a few hours. If you never log in and it's been 6 months or so, however, you'll receive an email from the admins asking if you'd like to continue with us.

What if I had an idea for the site?

Honestly? Do NOT hesitate to PM Tyler, Holly, Pure Song, or Fenrir with your idea. You'll get due credit of course, and we really do appreciate any feedback on the design, or ideas on the site as a whole. This forum was made for members, not for just the admin team. We are constantly asking for members' opinion on matters that we change or feel need attention.
