Did You Know?

So I thought it would be interesting if we could put down the random facts that we know that would only be used on things such as Jeopardy or something similar. You know you all have facts that don't usually com up in conversation and would sorta be awkward to blurt out. Such as Did you know that the famous Troll doll was actually first called the “Dammit” doll in honor of its creator Thomas Dam?

Did you know that Jack the Ripper only killed (and dismembered) five people? The fame of the murders came about not from the quantity of the murders, but from the fact that he was never caught and that the murders were some of the earliest ones of sexual nature.

((Might be a little more gruesome than what you were looking for, but it was the first one that popped into my head ))

There's a word in German for the feeling of being alone in the woods (Waldeneinsamkeit - literally "forest loneliness"). And for the smell before and after it rains (petrichor).
