Lucius Fenrir

Alright, so I'm working on a fantasy/horror story. I have yet to name it, but we'll cross that bridge once we get to it. However, I've begun to work on the main character, who I have named Lucius.

Alright, I want to make him a bit of a dark character, seeing as his profession is to destroy monsters and other demonic forces. He's a knight of a fictional order I've named the Order of Sanctuary. So he's a trained hunter.

He'll be killing all sorts of dark creatures and mystical monsters. So you can say that he is completely fearless, but not perfect. He does have some defects. Such as being a loner, does not like following orders, and tends to not mind collateral damage.

Despite all of this, he's married (surprising, no?). So the only people he cares about are his wife and his brother-in-law, who is also his best friend and fellow knight.

What do you guys think?

So would he try to seem ordinary and 'harmless' to people who he doesn't deal with in his profession directly? Does he have any exact fear or weakness besides his wife and brother-in-law?

It sounds interesting so far

In a way. He's not one for conversation, but can be nice when he needs to be. He's withdrawn and antisocial, to a point, but still has a heart.

Also, he was trained to not have any fears. The only thing he fears is someone or something harming his wife.
