Word of the Day Empty Word of the Day

Post by Tyler 5th April 2014, 1:28 am

As a challenge from my College Composition professor gave me once, I am going to use one new word a day for myself somewhere, whether in writing or aloud in a conversation. So I'm taking the challenge and writing it here as I go to document the new words. This might also be fun for you guys to learn a new word if you'd like to follow along.

Indolent
Lazy, sluggish

They were rather indolent in their movements, little to no actual action taking place in a quick manner.

Sedulous
Diligent; persevering; persistent

He noticed that she was quite stubborn and sedulous in her ways. She never stopped badgering the headmaster to let her stay.
