What is the Muse Olympics?

So what is this event going on? We've been pretty vague thus far about things, so this is to go into a little more detail.

This event starts with two groups. The whole thing is set in an RPG-created world of summer camp. Even if you're new to the RPG world, this event helps you through it and challenges you as a writer to write.

Each person signed up receives a randomized name from the admin team. This is your name throughout the event. During the event, different things take place both through PM messages and public posts. You don't have to be active to play in this event, so don't worry about that. It'll take all summer.

Whether you receive a PM from an admin, or a public post you spot, you have to complete a challenge. After that challenge, you get to know a little more about who 'you' are (the name you received is your character so to speak). You'll interact with others and get to really develop this character that you have no control over who and how they are.

How you respond to challenges will determine the traits or information about your character. This event is all about having fun and seeing the finer details of character development. So even if you don't RP regularly, it's still fun to see the challenges that will come to you as a writer. If you design? There are challenges inside that'll force you to design or draw or create in new ways.

Here's to a fun summer guys. Looking forward to it. Admins can not join the event, but they will have their own characters created solely for this event, 'Camp Counselors'.
